ON THE PITCH
We lost our opening league division 2 match away to Grattan Óg on Thursday evening last on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-11.
We play Mostrim in Round 2 at home next Saturday evening at 7pm. Best of luck to all the team and management.

LONGFORD U20
Well done to the Longford U20 footballer squad who picked up their second win in the Dalata Hotel Group Leinster U-20 FC over Louth on Wednesday evening last. They now take on Meath on Wednesday evening next (8th April) in Allen Park, Clonguish.
LONGFORD MINORS
Best wishes to the Longford Minors who take on Offaly on Tuesday evening next (7th April) in the Faithful Fields in Offaly in the second round of the Leinster MFC.
SCRAP METAL COLLECTION
Any unwanted metal items you have lying around the house or farmyard can be dropped into Liam Farrell’s workshop, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm. All monies raised goes towards the running of the club. Collection can also be arranged and if in doubt of what’s acceptable, you can contact Liam on 086 163 2842.
